I already knew the work I had put in was worth it in terms of making me think more about my teaching and getting me even more passionate about my relatively new profession. Of course it was nice to pass as well.
My initial reaction when I got my results? A slight feeling of disappointment to be honest. After further reflection following the exam, I'd decided/convinced myself that I'd actually done really rather well. I was expecting more than just a "pass". I certainly felt I'd done better in the exam than in any of the mocks I'd done. This was probably true but when I went back over my marks in the mocks I'd really only just scraped a pass at best in the last couple (and would have failed the earlier ones I took). Probably a fair result therefore. And nothing I could do about it anyway. It's a shame you don't get your actual mark but there you go.
So now what? Straight into Module 2 whilst I have some momentum or some more reading, private study, personal development to be better prepared?
