So Module 1 of my DELTA is underway and so far, so good.
I had read beforehand that the first unit doesn't take over your life completely (the assumption being that the others do therefore...) and I am pleased to say that was true. I've gone through the information packs provided, read some - but nowhere near all! - of the suggested reading and drafted my response to the essay question. I know I will probably need to learn more than most of the others on the course to be successful but at the moment I'm motivated, am learning a lot and am really looking forward to the rest of the course. The support, help and thoughts of the other candidates and tutor have all helped and I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
Feeling very pleased with myself for finishing the essay question a day early, I've just had a sneaky look at the handouts and suggested reading material for the next unit. Blimey. Looks like this is where the work really starts.
Any advice and thoughts about doing Module 1 would be very welcome - please let me know!
